 Umpiring at Hawkesbury City Netball Association

If you are new to Umpiring, please contact your the Umpires Convenor for the Netball Club you have registered with who will assist you with getting started.

As per our Competitions Policy, the minimum requirements to Umpire are:

Uniform Requirement (Competition Policy Section 13.3)

One of the following configurations below:

• Club Uniform. items for top & bottom

• Top: White Shirt - Bottom: White shorts, skirt, pants or skins.

• Top: White Shirt - Bottom: Black shorts, skirt, pants or skins.

National Badged Umpires

• National Umpires Badge - AA, A, B, C

• Current Rules of Netball Certificate (within 4 yrs from achievement)

• Umpire any division with no approval required.

• Copies of National Badge and Rules Certificate MUST be provided to the Association as evidence of entry as a Badged Umpire.

Unbadged Umpires

• Current Rules of Netball Certificate (within 4 yrs from acheivement)

• There is NO MINIMUM AGE LIMIT to learn how to or officiate games.

• Have a Umpire Coach present with you on Junior Games, until you have been authorised to umpire solo. You will be provided with the level of game you are allowed to officiate solo.

• Must have an Umpire Coach present with you if you are Umpiring a game higher than you approval, until subsequent sign off on the new level of game officiating.

• Approval must be sort from the Association Umpires Convenor to Umpire Senior games if Unbadged.
